Passive House Certified
Description of the passive house:
A passive house is a house that spends very little energy, and that recycles the energy it produces. Thanks to the performance of its thermal insulation, its ventilation, the contributions of solar energy, it maintains a gentle ambient temperature throughout the year. For example, in a passive house, heat from outside (sun) and heat from inside (inhabitants and machines) are used to heat the home. An occupied and well-insulated building independently produces enough heat for the daily comfort of its occupants.
The criteria developed by the Passivhaus Institute for the certification of passive houses go beyond those of the Low Energy Building (BBC): • Heating or air conditioning requirement less than 15 kWh / m² / year • Air tightness n n50 = 0.6 / hour
