The Southern Pacific Zone was always the most beautiful part of Costa Rica, but for decades not so discovered or popular among the tourists until recent years. Escaleras was one of those villages that was so hard to reach as it was on a steep hill above the ocean. Unknown village over a few years had become the so-called ‘Beverly Hills’ of the Southern Pacific Coast. After the road was built this hardly accessible village had become a true gem with its dramatic ocean views and picture perfect sun sets.

Suddenly homes were started to be built there, but not any kind of homes, each home was more beautiful than another. Modern astonishing luxury homes that had attracted many expats who had decided to own their dream homes and enjoy the rest of their lives like on extended vacation.
The most expensive home that was sold recently in this area had a price tag over $8 million. Even the New York Times had an article about this little village that not long ago people didn’t know existed and which was hiding such breathtaking views. Bigger pieces of land in that area had become nonexistent, until now. Until this last gem of Escaleras had become available. This amazing farm has it all, from breathtaking ocean and sunset views, its own waterfalls, springs, creeks and valley views overlooking Diamante Valley Waterfall. This is any developer’s dream. Over a 315 acre land that gently slopes down the hill overlooking the biggest and most impressive Diamante waterfall. Easy access to the farm is by the well-maintained public road that will take you along the farm property lines. Farm consists of two areas: Ocean and Valley view. Both are stunning and will wow you. Ocean view part will take your breath away with this dramatic ocean view from the top ridge of the mountain where you can enjoy one of the most incredible sunset views or in a whale’s season even see the whales when twice a year come to have the little ones. The jungle ridge gives you privacy and allows you to see some amazing jungle creatures in their natural habitat, as it is a true animal corridor. Valley view part has several hidden gems that will take your breath away like a 30m and 20m tall waterfall that is fed by two massive watersprings that are born on the property. Each spring has the capacity to feed the entire development if you decide to turn it into one.

Farm is currently used as a cattle ranch with 80% pasture land, several cattle corrals and 4 Tico farm homes. Apart from two main rivers there are several creeks that are on the property. All homes on the property are connected to the city electricity and water is fed from springs that are found all over the farm. Farm has an internal road already cut in. Hardwood trees and fruit trees are all over the land. Easy access, abundance of water, stunning views on 315 acre land only 30 minutes away from Uvita or nearest beach. This farm is the true last hidden gem of the most desirable community that has been growing in value every year.
