Description
Have you ever dreamed of owning a jungle-immersed the land just steps away from a quiet and pristine Pacific Ocean beach, inside a secure gated community and with quick and easy access to the coastal highway and all the services and entertainment options the Costa Ballena area is world-famous for?
Your dream is about to come true!
A special offer like this is nearly impossible to find in our area. I say ‘nearly’ because you are lucky enough to be looking at just such an offer! Naturally set lots of land within shouting distance of the ocean are indeed hard to find and usually these lots are small, situated in a busy neighborhood and permeated by the sounds of civilization that drown out the noise of the ocean - even if the ocean is at your fingertips.
This amazing, gated beach front community is located between the towns of Uvita and Ojochal. As soon as you pass through the entrance gate the jungle-tree buffer, the incessant roar of the ocean and the sound of crashing waves largely drown out the noises of the nearby highway.
This lot is located close to the community entrance gate - the large building site is surrounded by a jungle punctuated by towering and majestic trees which watch over the community far below. This jungle provides a natural barrier which suppresses most of the road noise, and because the area is largely undeveloped the typical noises of civilization are also nearly absent.
The endless rainforest encompassing the lot stretches from the ocean to the tops of the nearby mountains.
It is not surprising that this area is used as a natural corridor for Costa Rican fauna in their daily migration between the ocean and the mountains – you will get to know which birds fly over at which time of the day. Your new neighbors will include numerous monkey species, scarlet macaws, colorful jungle birds and amphibians, electrifying blue morpho butterflies, glimpses of whales which visit from December to March, dolphins and frigate birds, and many many more! The surrounding jungle provides a relaxing background of greenery and vibrant colors of the many orchid and flower species that call these jungles their home.
The front of the property has a gentle drop on which you could accessorize your new house - a cabin, yoga platform, gazebo, are just some of the options that can be realized to enrich your experience. The surroundings make you feel like you are inside a jungle, your own and private, and the sounds of the ocean give this place a magical, de-stressing, lush and tropical atmosphere – how you take advantage of this is limited only by your imagination!
A short five-minute walk brings you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, with amazing views of the nearby Ballena Island and the three piercing rockfaces of the Tres Hermanas Islands – these islands sit in the waters front and center of the wonderful beach. The beach is very quiet, it almost looks deserted – this despite it being surrounded by some of the most famous beaches in Costa Rica like Playa Uvita and Playa Ventanas!
Several houses have already been built in this community and a few are under construction, but none of them threaten the privacy and serenity of the offered land.
The lot is located on the highest point of the community, elevated in relation to the other properties. There is no need to worry about it being flooded.
Lodging here is perfect for a family with school-age children as the largest and most popular multi-language private school sits just around the corner, the community is gated and secure, and access to local shops and services is very quick and easy - Uvita with all the ammenities, and Ojochal with Costa Rica's famous world class restaurants are only minutes away, which is something easy to forget when surrounded by the ocean, mountains, jungle animals and a lush rainforest!
Water, electrical and internet connections are already established.
